Charming 19th-century style children’s whistle mug originally made in Japan, likely mid-20th century.

One side reads “Today I Am a Little Dear” with a hand-painted baby deer and butterfly; flip it and it says “Today I Am a Little Stinker” with a skunk illustration. Handle is hollow and forms a functioning whistle, decorated with a little bluebird perched atop.
